Colorado River - Pumphouse Recreation Area

Downstream of the Pumphouse parking area, the Colorado River winds through a large meadow with riffles and undercut banks. Hiking upstream of the parking area leads into Gore Canyon. Divers bug life provides nymph, dry-fly, and streamer fishing opportunities.

Meet at 7:45AM at the T-Rex Park-n-Ride near I-70 and C-470, the Morrison exit. Please contact Mark for the parking lot specifics as there are a few options at T-Rex. Here’s the address for mapping purposes: 18425 U.S. 40, Golden, CO 80401.
