Paul Winkle, Aquatic Biologist for CPW

Paul Winkle, Aquatic Biologist for CPW will be speaking on fish survey and management data for the creeks and reservoirs listed below. CPW is an enterprise agency, relying on license sales, state parks fees and registration fees to support its operations: 42 state parks and more than 350 wildlife areas covering approximately 900,000 acres, management of fishing and hunting, wildlife watching, camping, motorized and non-motorized trails, boating and outdoor education.

Fly Tying Demo - Phil Iwane

Come see legendary fly tyer Phil Iwane demonstrate tying some of his flies before the presentation. Phil will be tying at 6:00pm for about a half hour.

Our monthly meetings are FREE and occur on the third Tuesday of every month.

Meeting Location: Lone Tree Brewing Company, 8200 Park Meadows Drive, Lone Tree, CO 80124.

The meeting doors open about 6pm for fly tying, fish stories, catching up with old friends, and meeting new friends. The meetings start at 6:30pm.

Our meetings deliver helpful information related to conservation projects for coldwater fisheries, fishing events and trips, and other fishing related topics. We have a wide range of guest speakers including local guides revealing secrets about their home waters, and representatives from Colorado Parks and Wildlife giving updates on the health of our local fisheries.

The meeting topics are announced a few weeks in advance on the website (cutthroatctu.org) as well as via the monthly newsletter for which you can also sign up on the website.
