Join Cutthroat Chapter and Minturn Anglers for a
South Platte River Clean Up Event
When: Saturday, July 27th from 8AM to 12PM
Where: Deckers Crossroads area (8570 State Highway 67, Sedalia, CO 80125)
Meet on Denver Water’s porch, next to the Douglas County Sherrif’s Office, around the corner from Flies & Lies
What to Bring:
Drinking water/water bottle to stay hydrated
Work gloves
Lunch will be provided!
Details:
We’ll be picking up trash along the South Platte River in the morning. The volunteers will be given ‘beats’ to cover.
At noon, we’ll meet back at Denver Water’s porch for sack lunches and compare the oddities that end up on the side of a river.
After lunch, you’re free to fish some of the most productive (and sometimes most challenging) water in the state!
