Long time chapter member, past CCTU President, CTU Board Member, and fervant TU/CTU/CCTU supporter, Sharon Lance is sharing the memory of her husband Mark with the 1st Annual Mark Lance Memorial Shoot. Mark Lance passed away in 2022 after a brief bought with cancer.

Mark was an avid outdoor enthusiast and world-renowned photographer. He has donated many of the photographs that appear on the cutthroatctu.org website. In an article by TU President Chris Wood about Sharon, Mark is said to have made the mistake of introducing Sharon to TU by taking her to a Cutthroat Chapter meeting many years ago. A fortuitous event (for us) from which she never looked back. Mark was also passionate about a recently discovered hobby of training and competing with his hunting dog Zeke, a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, in the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association. Mark made such an impact on the folks in this organization that they are holding their 1st Annual Mark Lance Memorial Shoot. See the attached flyer for details.
