We’re trying some new water this year

We are going to try to explore some additional rivers this season. One thing to note regarding snowpack: all drainages have above average snowpack numbers this year except the Arkansas which is below average. With spring run-off, we’ll play it by ear. We may find ourselves with rivers blown out except the Arkansas, and in this case we may choose to go to the Arkansas. Again, we’ll play this decision on the destination by ear as we see how run-off unfolds.

If you want to mark the future dates on your calendar, here are the tentative dates for next few (all Saturdays):

• June 3*
• July 22
• August 19
• September 23
• October 14

* - Run-off may be happening around this time, so we’ll adjust as necessary depending on conditions.
