CCTU AUGUST ANNUAL PICNIC (Replaces August Monthly Meeting)

Let's Celebrate and Raise Funds for our CCTU Conservation, Restoration and Education Projects

Join us at the Annual Picnic on August 15th at Reynolds Landing on the South Platte River. A limited number of volunteers are needed starting at 4pm, picnic activities officially start at 5:00 PM.

Raffle tickets should be available for purchase up until the drawing begins at 6:00 PM

(No promises as they are selling fast!)

And if you’ve already purchased a raffle ticket or two to support the CCTU chapter, we will be making the raffle drawing at 6:00 PM! Though, you do not need to be present to win, wouldn’t it be cool if you were?!

Dinner and drinks will be available from a food truck Big Belly Brothers BBQ. Their menu is viewable at the previous link but includes items like Brisket in multiple variations, Ribs and Burgers as well as some traditional sides like potato salad, Big Belly Beans and my favorite, Mac & Cheeeeese.

Please also bring folding chairs – there’s may not be enough room at the picnic tables.

Fishing is close by, right on the South Platte River…so feel free to bring your rod and wet a line!

The Park closes at sundown…so you are welcome to stay and fish or visit as long as the light permits.

Reynolds Landing is located off Santa Fe, just a little north of Aspen Grove.  Quick directions are (from C470) north on Santa Fe, proceed past Aspen Grove, turn left (west) on Brewery Lane, proceed past Breckenridge Brewery, road dead ends at the park.
