Cutthroat Chapter is looking for volunteers on Saturday, August 14, to help with the revegetation of the Mineral Park Project above Alma. The major work on the site has been completed and it needs to have bristlecone pine seedlings, sedges, and willows planted. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own tools (spade-type shovels, picks, and trowels). The project is at an elevation of 11,500 feet, just below tree line. Come prepared to be away from your vehicle and exposed to variable high altitude weather. We plan to meet at the Alma town hall at 9:30 and we will arrange our transportation to the site. We anticipate about a 4 hour project and we will have bag lunches for the volunteers. Please RSVP to Richard Pilatzke at rhpiscator@aol.com or call him at 303-979-8425.
