Program 1 – Robert Walters, CPW, Colorado Aquatic Nuisance Species
Robert is the Invasive Species Specialist for Colorado Parks & Wildlife. He will speak on the exotic or nonnative aquatic wildlife and plant species that pose a significant threat to the aquatic resources or water infrastructure of Colorado and the CPW management plan in place to control them.
Program 2 – Phil Tereyla, Addictive Angling Colorado, Targeting Fall Trophy Brown Trout
Phil moved to Colorado in the 4th grade and started fly fishing when he was 11. He grew up in Colorado Springs and has been guiding on the South Platte watershed for the last 13 years. He started guiding while attending the University of Northern Colorado and has never strayed far from the South Platte and other great fly fishing opportunities that Colorado offers. His focus is on sight fishing and targeting large trout and has an excellent knack for adapting to Colorado’s ever-changing river conditions. For seven years, he also served as a contributor with American Angler Magazine and enjoys spreading his knowledge of the sport through print.
The meeting will be held on Zoom, starting at 7pm on Tuesday, October 20. The Zoom meeting portal will open at 6:30pm, feel free to pop in early and talk with various CCTU members.
